Time surely flies... it seems like it was yesterday that I looked at my husband and said: Honey, let's not make a big deal out it, but my water just broke!!!!!!! A few hours later there she was, 7 lbs 2oz of pure cuteness. We were in love instantaneously. Today she is turning 6 months, I can't believe it! In these few months Lyla has blossomed into an active, curious and sweet little girl with a smile that fills our hearts with pure joy. Being a parent is not an easy task, but is the most gratifying thing in the world, isn't it?. She is a constant reminder of how perfect God's creation is, of how much He loves us, and how blessed we are to have her and each other. Our love for her keeps us grounded and honest. We can't help but look inside ourselves and try to be a better person for her. We are trying to enjoy every second of this stage oh her life, because we know that soon it will come a time that our silly faces will not be as funny, that our arms will not be the only ones that she will seek for comfort... for now, mommy and daddy are for sure her 2 favorite people in the whole entire world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how awesome is that?
She is growing and so are we!!!!
Thank you all for being part of this incredible journey and for loving and caring about us and our daughter.
Happy 1/2 birthday sweet little girl!

Happy 6 months sweet little one! And congrats to you Cibele for being an awesome mom for the last 6 months as well - I think you should take today to celebrate all of your accomplishments with that as well. It is inspiring for the rest of us to see. ((Hugs))
