found
My car was found Friday night. I haven't seem in it. The ex took care of EVERYTHING he went to get the car when the police called. The car was trashed, all my stuff are gone, instead he left his stuff behind because he had to run from the police. He also left a rose on the driver's seat, how creepy is that?. It would have been better if they had not found the car, now I have to stay with a car that this guy has been driving around, smoking pot, stealing things. He was not caught, but his fingers print were all over the car. I a waiting for the insurance people to tell what is next... I am really tired of having to pick my self up only to be knocked down again. I have no choice, I have to keep my chin up and focus again on the good. I can't even count how many times I heard this past week: how much more can happen to you??? I myself said that. I will stop saying that because every time I say I am reminded that it can always be worse. I am hoping for better days soon because I am running out of energy .

Cibele, I wish there were some words that I could put here that would help but that is just not likely. I'm so sorry that you have so many things on your shoulders right now. I thinking many positive thoughts for you that there will be much brighter days ahead.
*Happy to hear that the ex is helping you out a little bit with this situation.
*hug* I've been thinking about you all weekend. I'm so sorry that you keep running into these roadblocks, and really happy that your ex took care of something for you.
Sending you strength and hugs and the hopes that it turns around for you soon.

I'm so sorry. I cannot imagine how disheartening all of this must feel. I hope things turn around for you soon and that your insurance company makes sure that car gets cleaned up really well!
I am glad that there is some resolve, but yeah, I wish you could have just gotten a new car!
OK, first, it's better for your insurance rates to have the car found and returned. There's nothing the guy could really do that a good detailing won't fix, as long as he didn't crash it. Fingerprints everywhere are a good thing - and in our lab, we are frequently able to identify auto theft suspects (I'm a latent print examiner).
Second, a story for you...my aunt used to live on the north side of Chicago, and her parents lived on the South side of Chicago (approximately 20-30 miles apart). My aunt's car was stolen from her apartment complex (or maybe from the airport, where she worked). A few days later, she was visiting her parents, and as she was going to church, she spotted her car parked on the next block over from where they lived. She got her car back, she kept it for a few more years, then she passed it on to our family. We used it for several years until my sister finally blew up the engine. Sometimes it all works out.
Anyway, I hope they catch the guy soon.
I'm so sorry it's one after another for you. all I can say to you is i'll keep you in my prayers and sending you ((( hugs)))) keep staying strong.
I'm so sorry. I hope things get better soon. It's been a rough road.
OMG, I am so behind on my blog reading. That SUCKS. Was the car seat and stroller missing too??? What a jackass. So sorry. :(
Holy crap! I'm glad they found it... I hope they find *him*.
