Things are going well here. I had my first OB appointment last Friday after the u/s last Tuesday. It is just like a routine dr's visit, I had so many questions but ended up not asking many, it was very casual and she did not seem to be concern with my IF history. She just put on my chart : conceived with clomid!!! Waiting there with all those women with big bellied made me feel like I don't belong there. Even though I feel sick most of the time now and still feel an outsider. I've been having terrible nightmares that involve some bleeding and losing the baby... I am scared. Now that I saw and heard the heart bead I am attached to this baby, I love him or her already!
We also came out to a bunch of people this weekend. We wrote an e-mail about our struggles to conceive, how blessed we feel, and how no one should ever take their children for granted... I am humbled by the many messages that we go of people that have been praying and hoping for us to get pregnant. I felt their sincere happiness for us ! I said out loud: DO you see how much you're loved already baby????
I also found out that 2 friends of mine are also pg, and believe it or not, same due date. I am so happy to share with them this moment, but at the same time I am scared. Scared that something might happen and I am left with their pregnancies to remind me, do I make any sense???
My next appointment is only on October 5th. I have 4 weeks of waiting... I am hoping and praying that all keeps progressing well. Please baby keep growing!
7w3d today and counting...
I must add that both Sara and Baby blues are on my thougths and prayers this week!!! I am sorry blogsisters!!!! hugs for both of you

Yes, yes keep growing baby!
Hey Cibele, I am so glad to hear everything is going well. Tell that baby to hang in there and we will see him or her in 9 months! I wish you the best. :]
I am so glad that things are going well. Keep growing, little one!
the waiting is such torture at this stage, but just think you'll be almost 11 weeks by the next appt, and then time will start to move so much more quickly. grow baby, grow!
thanks for being transparent about your feelings. HUGS
I am happy to hear that your baby is doing well. I understand the torture of waiting for the next appointment. I also TOTALLY get the feeling like your friends' pregnancies will continue and something will happen to yours. I have a lot of people in my life who are pregnant right now, most of whom conceived easily. I still worry that everything will be fine and easy for them and difficult and painful for me.
Hang in there- and get a bright colored marker so that you can gleefully cross days off the calendar!
Thanks, you're in my thought too. I'm looking forward to hearing updates on your little one.
Ci, you totally make sense to me. So natural to feel blessed and scared. Women who have lost a baby will always have stress filled pregnancies: it is hard to just go with th flow once you know there's a whole sad side of maternity people rarely talk about...
I am dropping by to tell you that I'll be password protecting my blog. Please drop by and send me an e-mail so I can send you the details to keep visiting me.
